Tachometer Help Please

Boscoe, the original ground I believe was in the plug with the pink, black, orange and gray wires. There was also a black wire bullet connector coming out of the tach that went to nowhere. It was just bunched and taped. I just connected that to an empty spot on a 4 connector bullet and that was it. All the warning lights work, the buzzer works, and the tach works. The trim indicator isn't working as that little plastic clamp that has the paddle on it is broken. So far so good.
