yamaha 40, 2 stroke not discharging water

Ok thank you, do you know where i can find a diagram of where they are located and how to change em? Also i was thinking of changing the spark plugs and oil, one of her plug wires is held on by electrical tape so i need to change that.

There is no oil to change on a two stroke, it burns a mixture of gasoline and oil. Either the engine is oil injected with a tank under the engine cowl for the oil or you premix in the fuel tank. If you have plug wires held in place by tape yeah a good idea to replace. Don't run the engine until you replace the water pump impellar. Lots of videos on the net to give you an idea of the job. It really sounds like the motor has been slightly abused by lack of maintenance it probably should be gone through by a pro so you have a baseline. Good luck.
