Yamaha 2014 3hp 2stroke how to convert to 3.5hp

I have bought a 2014 3hp Yamaha 2 stroke and find it a bit underpowered. I've seen on Youtube demonstrations of a 3.5hp Yamaha Malta and was wondering if my 3hp could easily be converted to a 3.5hp. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Peter

Is a 3 HP right? what do you expect?

Even if you can add 0.5 HP I would say that improvement is nearly none just for donīt say none...

Yes, on some models is possible improve HP, on this one I donīt know... maybe with other carb (or not) but mods on this motor under warranty is not a good idea (just my 2 cent)

start by making sure you have the right propeller for your hull/usually load people on board etc
