I have 2 new FPs and new gasket asm on the prime start.
My question is that B4 I start, I pump blub up tight but she refuses to start until I squeeze blub again sometimes twice but she fires up after that she runs OK.
I think I might have over torqued the mounting bolts at first. I thought it was 9 ftlbs but it should have been 6, so I backed off and reset to 6 ftlbs.
Could this have damaged the mounting gasket or something else. Again, I can get a firm bulb at first.
Any ideas??
