    Is this Yamaha grease; ACC-GREAS-14-CT MARINE GREASE

    the same as specified in the Yamaha shop manual below (pic #9 or "A" grease?;

      Just ordered 4 cartridges for the OB yesterday. I was told it was the same but wanted to confirm...

        Also, the Quicksilver 2-4-C Marine Grease in a tube is a well-proven and respected product....and it contains Teflon.....I don't know if it's better than the Yamaha grease but I've used it with success....

          I needed the 14 oz size cartridge for the grease gun for the grease fittings on my 150. I have the Yamaha waterproof tub grease (for splines, mid section bushing, etc) and some Evinrude, (blue in a squeeze tube as well).
