Hey folks curious as I have an older hotfoot without the universal cable hookup attachment. It just has the OMC and merc attachments. Is there a way that I can attach this pedal to the universal style ends ?

the Yamaha uses 3300 type cables.
all other manufactures sell a cable kit. -
Can you possibly point me to an online source for this end to attach to the cable I checked at the local shop here and it's a special order for the merc end for the 3300 cable and it was 100$ seems excessive for an end for a cable.Comment

I did not say it was cheap.
there is also a cable,cant remember its designation, that was used for the early OMC/VOLVO joint venture shift and throttle.
it had OMC style anchors on one end and 3300 series on the other.
it allowed the use of OMC control boxes on the J/V cobra SX.Comment
