  • Disconnecting water pressure tube

My motor is a 2001 200tlrz and I want to disconnect and plug the water pressure tube going to the gauge on the console. The fittings on top of the starboard head look to be in two brass parts, one that's in the head and then threaded on top of it a smaller one that compresses the end of the tube.

Should I get a cap for the top fitting or remove both fittings and use a brass plug to stop up the opening? And do you think the parts are available at boats.net?
    Thank you!

I would remove the fitting and replace it with a plug. And new washer.
