  • Puzzler question

I have a gallon of pure water.

To that gallon of water I normally add a saltwater solution made up of a teaspoon of salt dissolved in three teaspoons of water.

If I add two teaspoons of salt and six teaspoons of water (a double dose if you will) to the gallon of pure water will the gallon mix be saltier or not?

Yes or no answers only please. Thank you.

        I say yes
it will have more salt in it, so it is saltier

        May not taste it though

without going back to 8th grade environmental science and looking up moles of concentration, yep it will be slightly saltier.
give me a ration and I will start back with the moles of concentration tables.

nice thing about the net? I don't have to use the dewey decimal system much.
