that gunk can be hard to get out of everywhere

When I take those carbs apart again, I will definitely try something like that.


One thing that really confuses me.. Whats the point of doing step three? It is the last step for the pick up point adjustment and the next page is a new section that involves using a timing light.

I ordered new carb and reed valve cage gaskets. I am in the process of changing them and notice substantial daylight through one of the reed valves. Is it very critical that they seal tight with no daylight?
