    I watch my pressure gauge all the time since I tend to fish in real shallow water. I try to keep it at 8-10psi. I've never had a cooling problem when I stay at or above 8psi even in the summer. Of course they're yamahas. I tried that with a Johnson 130hp and it wasn't enough water.

      Failed to mention that 8-10psi @5200 rpms is the minimum I'll run the 90hp yammy. I know it is enough water to cool it even in the summer in 1 foot of water.
