Tachometer for a 1984 Yamaha 30 AM

I want to install a analog tachometer on my 1984 Yamaha 30 AM.

I bought a aftermarket (universal) tachometer. But I don't have a clue how to connect this.

The tachometer has three connections:
- IGN. (Ignition)
- GND. (Ground)
- SEND. (Send)

Where do I have to connect which connection to.

Please HELP !!

The tach needs to have a setting for 4 pole alternator to work on a 30hp. Make wire connections to Yamaha key switch or control box.
- IGN. (Ignition) use Yamaha yellow wire
- GND. (Ground) use black wire
- SEND. (Send) use Yamaha green wire
