New to the Forum & a 2006 150 4 stroke Question

Just found this forum, it looks great and I'm glad to join!

I have a 2006 150 4-stroke with apx 460 hrs on it. After returning from the keys last week I was cleaning the boat this weekend and noticed that on my starboard engine on the lower unit above the top fill oil fill plug there's a small weep hole and oil was leaking out from it. Didn't notice it before the Keys trip.

Any ideas of what the problem is?

smell it, if it smells like lower unit lube have the lower unit pressure/vacuum tested.
probably drive shaft or shift seal

If motor oil it could be lower crank seal or hole in oil pan

either way oil is coming out a leg water drain hole

drive shaft seal is probaly leaking into the water jacket..

that hole is a water pump drain.
that oil is most likely from a leaking drive shaft seal.
