Took me hours to realize "IAT" stood for Intake Air Temperature

so I'll say black/yellow for air temp - ECM pin #38
      P/G for pressure - ECM pin 17

The term IAT also through me off for a bit before I figure out what he was talking about. Lead me down the rabbit hole for a while.

Sorry if that was the incorrect term. We're trying to connect a tuner ,and the instructions state to tap into the IAT signal wire. This is for a race boat

Be careful with the dyno boost, they are junk and a ripoff.

I see now why you used that term. Please let us know what the results are when you have tuned your motor. Inquiring minds want to know.

Inquiring minds would like to know more about this Dyno boost also.
Not that I would ever think I needed something that sounded like that, just want to know what it consists of

I installed one on a f150 and made no difference in performance.

a quick google of it , seems some say all it does is fools the ECU into thinking the air temp in is cooler so it will dump more fuel in

Too much fuel for X amount of air will reduce power.

The Yams that I measured ran very rich. I could see leaning the motor to obtain more power. But then there is a risk of some bad juju happening.

Have the ecu/ecm reflashed is about all you will get. Call power tech they can help.
