need to replace a ignition switch for f90trld HAs 8 wires coming out, two which are the same color. Does anyone know if I can use a standard 6 pin switch or do I have to use a yamaha switch. thks for any input ed

I don't know what a "standard" 6 pin switch means. If this is an automotive switch then no, it won't work. A Yamaha needs to have a circuit grounded to stop the motor from running.
Best to use a Yamaha switch and it will be simple plug and play.
Not cheap but better than an aviation part.
