Over Heat Buzzer

When running the engine at top speed the warning buzzer sounds and the engine get very hot. The water pump is strong the tell tail exhaust is strong and it only gets very hot at full speed. I can drop the speed slightly and the engine runs fine. Any suggestions? Engine is a C75 TLRT (94) great motor!

Best thing to do is drop the lower unit and install a new water pump impeller, then remove, clean or replace the thermostat and pressure control valve....how long since this was checked/done?...
