Testing electronic choke solenoid

I have a 2004 Txrc 150 hp two stroke . Having problem with choke. Is there anyway to test choke solenoid ? Before replacing it.

Has anyone else hand issues with choke not working ?

you could check ohms to see if it is open or shorted
service manual should have specs for ohms

Then you could check to make sure it is getting 12 volts when engaging the choke switch

easiest way?
unplug the blue wire at the bullet connector.
use a jumper wire and take the solenoid end to a battery positive on one of the solinoids.
if it goes click and retracts the plunger its good.
