the F200/225/250 "exhaust kit" was introduced, I believe, in mid 2012

SIM has for some time listed the part numbers within the kit;
I took the time to look through the Yamaha Parts lists for the six "metal parts" - the castings
to see how & when those parts differed in yearly product changes:

Don't forget that there are two kits. Kit one has part number 69J-41137-02-CA in it. Kit two has 69J-41137-10-CA in it. The -02 does not supercede to the -10. Same thing holds true with some other parts.
