power trim

I have 2 new yamaha 200 both of the power trim are malfunctioning. Iam thinking it has something to do with the power trim con*****er at the helm? Any one had this problem ?

What is the model number for the motors? Do the trim switches on the motors work? Malfunctioning? Push the button and get anything? Not even a click?

Is this a repower? Old control box being used with new motors or?

These are lf 200 brand new boat and motors. Iam not getting anything at the helm.
the port motor just wanted to come up as we were *****ing . Just all of a sudden started coming up on its own. Star board motor started not reacting with helm switch until finally nothing?
The trim switch on the motors do not work?

You are losing 12 volt to the switch

what are If 200 brand new boat and motors?

if everything is brand new, have the warranty cover the repairs.

motor raising by itself is not from loss of 12 v to switch, probably a short in wiring or bad switch.
but that could have ended up with a loss of 12 causing them not to operate at all
