Engine hours display done gone and RUNNOFT

Port engine Tach no longer displays the engine hours. No dashes, dots, ampersands or umlouts either. Just blank. The RPM display is still there and functions normally.

What drives this display? Could it just be a dirty connector or has the display itself crapped out? It's not essential since I have twins and the other engines Hobbs functions normally, but it's nice to know.

Dunno specifically, but I would at least check the gauge connectors for corrosion / green crap, etc. Basic's first..

Has to be either the connection, or the gauge itself...


Even if there was no inputs for everything else, the gauge would still show / illuminate.
