I finally saw it from a different angle. Damn thing may make that coffin a little more stable

Un-real and some very cool engineering there!
I suspect, if it has a long prop shaft, it's to keep operator adjustments "LESS sketchy".
That tiller, as long as it is, same thing and also, it's his "trim" too!!

yea My guess is there is no need for gears, just straight off of the flywheel. raised out of the water is the neutral, and has no reverse.
probably needs a prop that will chop up water weeds and sling them off around there anyway.
