  • flushing 2/225 yamaha s l998

I have 2/225 1998 yamaha(salt water series). After I shut off the engines, I tilt the engines up and unscrew the garden-hose connector from the fitting on the bottom crawling and screw the garden-hose connector onto a garden hose which is connected to a fresh- water supply There seems to be a diminished flow of water exiting the starboard engine as compared to the port engine. Both engines work satisfcorly when under way and no alarms go off and equal water is ejected. What could be the cause of this problem?

If it's working ok when engine is running then check the flush hose. Short of pulling powehead the only thing you can do is to use compressed air to clean hose and passage into block.
