  • Oil Reservoir Overflowed?

Today I had oil in the water behind me as I was fishing so I pulled off the cowling and I had a lot of oil in the pan that appeared to have overflowed from the reservoir. The oil level in the reservoir was good, right at the high mark on the reservoir. When I got home I wiped up the oil and noticed the line from the bottom of the intake to the bottom carb was off, but I may have knocked it off when wiping up the oil. Could this problem have corrected itself? On a side note, I couldn't get it to pee while on my water muffs and the temp alarm went off, but it WAS peeing at the lake, is that normal? I just had a new impeller installed recently. 1991 pro-v 200.

Today it ran and worked fine! So, if you were to guess what could have caused it and replace that part, what would you replace? The engine tank sensor assembly?
