Idle mixture screw settings C90

Should those idle mixture screws on my 3 carbs all be set the same?....for instance, all 3 set at 1-1/2 turns out from lightly seated?....how would a person know if they are set correctly or if any adjustments are required?....how are these set at the factory?...any ideas or thoughts?....

what does the service manual say they should be set at?

My manual says between 1 and 1-1/2 turns out from lightly seated....guess that's all there is to it....

I take it it says 1 1/4 +-1/4
my thoughts are to set at 1 1/4 with clean carbs , tweak a little if needed

My Clymer Yamaha Manual just says 1-1/2 turns out, no plus or minus....guess I'll just set them there. But still wondering how I might "fine tune" these for any improved idling, or should just leave them alone and worry about something else?....

On my 225 2 stroke, tied to a dock, put in idle and fooled with them for an hour(no effect). Bumped into gear: another 30 minutes no effect. Rodbolt says factory specs is all you need.
