Charging from 20A Motor.

Can any one tell me if its possibe to chage my battery from my Yamaha 20A it has a recifier fitted, if so how do I go about connecting it to, any one got a wireing diagram I could look at please?any help will be gratfull acepted.

Run a red wire from red wire on rectifier to positive post on battery (put an inline fuse in red wire). Run a Black wire from engine ground(engine block) to negitive post on battery.

Many thanks, is it as simple as that? dont I need the voltage regulator? its just directly to the battery?

There's probably not an regulator available for that engine just a rectifier. But a rectifier is all that is needed to charge a battery.
