Yamaha 220 LU gears needed

Hi. Would anyone have 220 gears for sale? Boats.net says that parts are obsolete but I'd need a set of 15/26 ones, 6G7.

Or could they be ordered, I can wait...

Would anyone have a complete 6G7 lu for sale?

My guess is that it may be easier to locate/purchase/install a good used/rebuilt lower unit for your outboard....

The parts info at boats.net is sometimes inaccurate when it says stuff is no longer available. Not sure why this is.

Some parts that show up as NLA may have to be replaced as a set. For instance, you might have to buy a pinion gear and the forward and reverse gears as a set. A gear set may be available whereas individual gears may not be.

Contact Yamaha directly and see what they have to say.
