05 F250 TXRD Tilt Trim unit

I removed the tilt and trim unit and replaced my trim motor. I am having a problem getting the unit back in place. I had to pry it out it was tight. Any ideas ? I guess no one has had this problem before.

FYI
I was able to wedge a 6 1/2 in 1"x2" block of wood inside the tilt n trim housing and move it just enough to get the assembley back in. Be careful when doing this.

Loosening the lower engine bracket to transom bolts some (along with the top bolts slightly) should allow that T&T unit to come out much easier without binding (the engine bracket would be able to spread out slightly).

I'd also make sure you have a coating of Yamaha waterproof grease on all the shafts, etc.
