06 25 2 stroke shift problem

My 25 2 stroke shift lever has to be held up to use reverse. It stays in forward, but when you try to go to neu its 2 clicks up and wants to fall back in forward gear. How do I make a adjustment on this shift lever?

there is NO adjustments.
something or most likely somthings wore out.

last one I did I had to replace the clutch, follower, rev gear, and the lock spring AND the upper motor mounts.


customer dogged it till it was real dead.
