I’m not taking that box apart.

what part number do I need to buy, and is it a direct swap? No programming required right?

I guess I aint the average tec.
I have had a few apart.
if you make the attempt go ahead nd buy to correct size carbide drill bits for the screws.
most will snap off and TiN coated wont touch them.
it aint much harder than a 703 box.

    can you make it repeat?
if so tap on it while using YDIS as an engine.
the 2.22 version can act as a helm or an engine.

In aviation this kind of a part would be sent off to a shop that is trained and equipped to perform a repair. I doubt there are any such shops here in the US for the Yamaha DEC box.

What would the YDIS tell us about this mess? You sure that is not an ETEC diagram?

So is there anyone that repairs the control box... I don’t have YDIS 2.2.

is replacing the best option? What’s the current part number?

I would like to see these later versions of YDIS. Walleye, do you have the latest version?

Yes, 2 blue lights are present and works correctly until a jolt throws the code.

Do I have to replace the whole thing??

there is not much that is field servicible inside.
if your getting two blue indicates troubleshooting is useless as it is working correctly.

It's seems to be a contact/connection issue to me.... Was fine for 1700hrs of operation, now something has worked its way loose.

I just need to pinpoint it.

I can replicate the problem, anytime its worse than 4-5 foot seas it will do it.

I also learned this weekend when I turn my sound systems the subwoofers rattling the boat will throw the code.
