If you have power tools I don't think it should be any more than 45 minutes from the time the motor is first touched to the time the block is lifted.

This does not include time to get the motor into a shop, go and get the hoist, etc., etc.

It further assumes that one knows what needs to be disconnected to lift the block.

I watched the tech do my 98 250 to replace the base gasket, it took him about 15 minutes to lift it up but he did not disconnect the harness or fuel line.
