I like that guy. Wish I could meet him and share a beer. He talks funny but...
Here is another good video. Stuff he talks about is discussed here quite a bit.

It might not hurt to recheck the mixture screws. Then, you might need to go back and recheck the manifold pressure of each cylinder. And then recheck the mixture screws. And then recheck the manifold pressure. One can, repeat can, not necessarily will, affect the other.Originally posted by 99yam40 View PostI would have thought that once you balance the vacuum by changing the plates opening, you would need to go back and re adjust the mixture screws since the plates have moved.
Am I wrong?
I am surprised to see him doing what he does based on his ear, rather than using a good digital tachometer to detect the engine RPM change as each carburetor gets adjusted. But I live in a glass house and don't throw stones. As I said, I appreciate the time and effort he puts forth in creating these and then sharing them with us.

I just came home from the neighbors house. He just got ROKU and was using it to watch the ****. His inner web speed must have been way down. The picture was lost over and over again. Appeared to be a buffering problem. Don't think the data was coming in fast enough to continuously display the picture.Originally posted by pstephens46 View Post
99yam is busy watching the halftime show.

That would stink if GA and AL were playing. This is probably a good event for testing.Originally posted by boscoe99 View Post

Most of the time they work on "small" motors and do lot of mods as convert a long shaft motor to short shaft
