f90la cuts stalls until primer bulb pumped

I have a pontoon with an new 90 hp on it. The tank delaminated after 3 months. Dealer installed new tank and it corrected problems of running out of fuel with 10 gallons still in tank. Now motor stalls at various rmps, but will smooth out if I pump the primer bulb. Any thoughts. I am thinking new fuel line and primer bulb, but boat is a 2012. Tahoe pontoon.

sounds like leaking/sucking air into system

you would be sucking air as yammy 99 says or if it is a EFi motor i will be checking the injectors as sometimes they tend to seize

problem solved

Ended up to be a simple solution. Water separator filter on engine was stopped up with gunk. Put in new filter and runs like a champ. Thanks guys for the input. Have spin on separator ordered to put between tank and engine. Should eliminate future problems.

You need to find out what that stuff is that stopped it up,
may need to drain and clean or replace tank

or maybe replace fuel lines if they are coming apart

He posted that dealer replaced tank with new....

my $$ is ethanol has disolved the inside of the lines from tank to filter....the fact that engine would run out of fuel while still having 10 gallons in it tells me the pick up tube was the 1st victim of the ethanol....
