  • Oil Overfill During Service - Damage?

Long story short – Ended up running my 2010 F225 TLR for three hours after overfilling the oil reservoir by almost 2 quarts. Careless mistake caused by trying to do my 100 hour service, while managing other issues.

Did I likely do any damage? Engine ran fine and no alarms sounded. I know the major issue is oil foaming, reducing lubrication. Would the ECM have detected a reduction in pressure and sounded an alarm?

drain it back down, go play and have fun you have not damaged anything.
yes in event of a pressure loss the engine will go into RPM reduction and you will get an audible and a visual alarm.
