Flushing F150 w/salt away

I have heard many Yamaha owners say they use salt away or vinegar to clean out the cooling system on their outboards when used in salt. I would like to know what the experts think before I try and how often sounds reasonable...Thanks in advance and sorry if this is repetitive......

I have a 2003 yamaha 150 two stroke with 700 hours on it, and 2 yamaha wave runners 4 stroke, and I live on the gulf coast and run only in salt water, I use salt away every time I flush and have for about 8 years, last time I did a Tstat change on my outboard I was pleased what I found, hardly any build up or scale,, even my poppit valve grommet was clean.. with that said I would recommend you use something,,
