  • Torque for 150 Trim Tab

    Can't find it anywhere.
The other question is, since it is an anode, should I use Loctite or not?

    Thanks

tight, regular 3/8 drive rachet with a 12mm socket, no lock tite, but i do use a little grease on the bolt,, and tighten it, if i had to guess by how many i have done, i would say about 25 ftlbs....

I don't know the exact torque amount but I tighten it good and darn tight and I've always used Loctite on the threads....and my zinc trim tabs always seem to dissolve in a way appropriate to their design purpose....and I've never had one fall off....so that's my experience....good luck!

        and I use gel seal.
keeps the bolt from vibrating loose.
25 ft pounds will work, so will 30.
