02 sensor on a ox66

Is it common for the co2 sensor to have oil coming out the side of the housing.
What causes it get so junked up.

Is the carbon build up normal. Is this something I should be cleaning a couple of times a season. I put 200 hours a season on motor

no its not common.
may also mean now you get to change ALL the insulation in the cover.
any insulation with oil contamination means its scrap.
and at reassembly use the CORRECT gaskets.
not nessasarly what the parts manual calls for but what is CORRECT.

if the incorrect parts were used then most likely the sensor and the insulaton are scrap.

mid year of 03 the 3.1L blocks changed . this requires ANY blocks replaced since then to change the O2 sensor holder and gaskets.
