okay here it goes I have a problem with my engine running at full throttle and the RPM's go from 5500 to 4600. I changed the coils but the problem persists I tightened all the grounds on the engine but the problem still occurs the funny thing is when I try to move the trim and tilt switch either up or down momentarily I get a rise in RPM's I am NOT lifting the engine up I'm just touching the button for a split second. my mechanic thinks it might be a stator can anyone help me with this problem if they've had the same thing happened. thank you in advance for your help. P.S. the fuel pressure seems to be fine

Low rpm
My engine is doing the same thing. Mine if I back off the throttle a touch the rpm goes back up. It seems to act up when the engines are running for awhile. I thought maybe it's the throttle position sensor. But it's a guess.Comment
