I realize that this is a loaded question but!!!
"Why has my bullet proof F225 with ONLY 620hrs. failed me? It's currently in the shop and they're saying it has a definate knock and wont know exactly what it is until it's torn apart. This motor has been pampered and well maintained. At this time I am very upset about the loss of my boating ability and the unknown dollar amount it's going to take to get it going again (not to mention I utilize it mostly for snapper fishing).

Your right its a loaded question, from my experience anything built by humans or robots is prone to fail, it is only as strong as its weakest link, just as well not specualte and wait to see what happened. Im sure this is not the answer you were looking for but it could also be a self inflicted wound..

typical knocks I hear are from worn/loose tensioners on either the cam belt or the cam chain.
could also be a gearcase or water pump not installed correctly.
