I have been dealing with this oil leak for a year, and now it's time to fix it. In this illustration 2002 90TLRA Yamaha Outboard OIL PUMP Diagram and Parts I see the oil level gauge assy (part #51) is separate from the tank (part # 26). I was thinking it was factory sealed onto the tank.. If I buy the assembly how will it seal to the tank and not leak like the old one? Would I be better off to go ahead and get both tank and assy just to make sure the leak will be fixed?
