Hello,
Water is no longer circulating through the cooling system of my 1985 Yam 9.9 FT EXK outboard. I have verified the impeller which I changed two yrs ago and it is in very good shape. The intakes are clean and clear of all debris and zebra mussels. The tubing passages in the engine compartment are clean too. What i noticed is that when i turn the impeller by hand it turns but is quite stiff. Is this normal?
What could be the cause or potential causes for the water not to circulate through the system properly?
