  • Pitot tube isolator

    Hello,

Yesterday I received my new Yamaha speedometer from Boats.net. The old one being the worse of the four as far as display clarity.

While inspecting for correct wiring, I noted a tag attached, that showed the dip switch settings. On this tag, it appeared that there was depicted a square thing attached inline with the pitot tube hose. I can only imagine that this is an isolator diaphragm to keep potential saltwater out of my instrument.

Where can I get one and what is the correct name for it? What do I ask for?
If its got teats or tires, you bound to have trouble with it....

You don't want that, if have on old gauge remove it and throw it away, causes more trouble than it's worth.
