Need help connecting new outboard motor gauge

I just purchased a gauge set for a Yamaha outboard engine. My engine is a 1999 model 200 saltwater series. The 6YRW0035-f3 is the gauge set that I purchased and I need it to convert to my '99 200 saltwater series. What kind of adapter do I need? They sold me this gauge set because they said it would work. But, I have 10 connectors and the new gauge only has 6. They said it would still work... Anybody know if that's true, or did they sell me the wrong gauge.

You should have ordered 6YR-W0035-E1-00 Multifunction Tach rig kit(1994-2004) and 6Y5-83570-S5-00 speedometer to have correct gauge set.
