  • Q: How to remove the part - "carrier bearing" on Yamaha F60 2004?

    Hello from Sweden!
I have a simple question about my Yamaha F60 2004.
How do I take out the part - "carrier bearing" from the lower unit?
The lower unit is loose and I have loosened all flange bolts (2 pcs).
In the exploded view is part number # 43 and it'll just be pulled straight back on the prop shaft?

I made a puller similar to Yamaha's own.
How much force should I use? Should I loosen any more parts?
Is there any DIY videos out there?

    Thanks in advance
    Glenn

one end threads into my slide hammer, the other end theads onto the prop shaft.
