    does anybody have some does and don'ts

    drain and clean the oil tank if oil injected.
    clean the carbs,replace the fuel pump.
    replace the water pump and thermostat.
    run on 50/1 pre mix as well as oil injection if applicable.

      also drain gas tank and then purge all the way up the hose to intake of fuel of fuel pump...very,,very much needed !! also spray a good oil like KROIL oil into the top are of each cly for a few days.. and a must do is a new w/p Impeller........

        I'm wondering if anyone has any older 2 stroke yamaha outboards laying around, i need a tiller handle with the throttle cable on because i purchased one that had been used with a steering wheel/console.
