  • intermittent cranking problem 225Vmax

I have been having some trouble with my '99 225VMAX cranking. When it cranks, it cranks fine just smokes a little. When it dont, it only turns over once while still holding key over. It will not let me wind on the motor. I have noticed there is what seems to be a little too much oil on plugs. Could it be that I am getting too much oil and its not letting it fire properly? If so, is there a way to adjust oil flow and where?

    no on the oil

when having cranking problems..first pull plugs and check for water intrusion,,2nd do voltage drop test on neg & pos cables....if drop on pos ,,,check solenoid(s)...NSS and ign. control switchs are rarely,,rarely (like never) are a problem.....K&T
