  • 99 Yamaha 200 2-cycle outboard help

I was out earlier today and forgot to look at my oil level and I ran out and my buzzer went off so I immediately shut the engine down. I filled up the oil reservoir but the engine would not let me go over 2000 rpm before sounding the buzzer. I proceeded to put in at 1500 rpm but every so often the buzzer would go off and I would have to let it sit for minute before starting back up. Does anyone know if there is a reset button somewhere?

    check the oil transfer rate.
drain the engine tank, make sure the remote tank is at least 1/2 full.
    turn the key to on,
you now should have 3 bars flashing,an aubible alarm and the engine tank should refill within 180 seconds.

      draining engine tank

drain the engine tank using the water catch....on the bottom of engine tank is a 2 in nipple that you push down and off...do not pull ...... K&T
