  • Block anode removal 2000 225 ox66

I removed and replaced the shorter block anodes on my 2000 225 ox66 but when I tried the longer anodes I could not get the 1st one to budge (I then stopped). Should I leave the longer ones alone? I do not see any visible deterioration around the anode. Would spraying PB buster help loosen. I have seen some posts where drilling out center and using a slide hammer may remove zinc. Any input would be appreciated

Yes probably will have to drill them to get out.

and if you break one off you must remove the head and retrieve it.
its why if its not done once a year OR every 100 hours simply leave it alone.
