Warm Up

I have a 03 225 hpdi and I know they need to be warm before running. I am planning doing some early(for MN) river fishing in a week, the water temp will be mid to low 30's and air temps in 20's in morning. I have no temp gauge, how long should I let idle?

I always let my 2 stroke idle at least 10 minutes the first time I start it that day,, this can be at the dock or in gear going through a no wake zone.. the rest of the day use it as normal... you should be ok..

I worry about the oil injection being sluggish at low temps. A Yamaha rep years ago said under 30 deg add some oil to fuel just to be safe.
