  • Hpdi Plugs fouled on starboard bank only

    200hp HPDI 2001

Motor was fine till it had an fuel line restriction. It killed the LP pumps (Leaking). Repaired the fuel line issue. Replaced the LP pumps and cleaned the VST and changed the MED pump filter.

Good spark on all plugs. With plugs out i have good spray of fuel. if I clean all 6 plugs I can run the motor for 3 mins after that it starts missing then stalls. When I check the plugs 1,3,5 are sold black 2,4,6 are slightly wet. I am thinking I have an exhaust restriction on that bank. Please give me some insight on this one before I remove the powerhead.

Fuel is running from test tank (clean)

NEED HELP Pullin my hair out on this one.

carefully test high pressure fuel rail.
      sounds like its fuel washing.
a leaking or stuck open injector can do that.
also check the spark plug caps for proper resistance.
test the VST for a leaking needle.
