25hp yamaha tachometer hook up

I recently purchased a 2005 25hp yamaha 4 stroke tiller model. I was wondering if it is possible to hook up a tachometer to this model since its a tiller model. I was looking under the cowling and I didn't see any places to hook up a wiring harness for a tachometer. Maybe I'm not looking in the right spot or do they not include a tachometer plug because its a tiller model.

It is possible but it requires some special wiring from engine and a switch to turn gauge off and on. You might want let your dealer do the wiring for you.
You will also need a battery.
