Looking to convert my T50 to non high thrust?

Does anyone know if it can be done? From what I can see the drive shaft spline is smaller on the 1.85 gear? Are the drive shafts interchangeable? I really like the yami high thrust, but I am looking for more speed. As I know some one who has the same set up with a 1.85 gear and performance is much better. Thanks

Never tried it but probably would have to change gearcase and upper housing.

The 1.85 gear case will mount right up, the problem is the diameter of the drive shaft spline on the big foot gear is bigger. What I will need to find out is if the lower end of the 2 drive shafts are the same? Then I can swap them out?

They have same engine, same crankshaft so drive splines should be same.

Thanks I thought the same but when I got the 1.85 gear in hand it is different, I will have to take some pics to show the difference in the spline dia.
